Fare Shares Café
The
Fare Shares Café is run in agreement with Cambridgeshire Mencap. We aim to
feed visitors, workers and volunteers in body, mind and spirit and,
offer friendship and a purpose to all. We also seek to serve the
community by giving a professional service, as well as a caring and
Christian atmosphere. The ministry the café offers our customers and
workers is of great value and we are always looking for more
volunteers. You might enjoy helping in the kitchen, or serving at
table, or perhaps being a 'Christian presence' in the café. If you feel
able to offer a couple of hours weekly or fortnightly, please have a
word with Jan Nicholls. The Café is open for 4 days a week - Tuesday to
Friday.
Hours: 10:30am - 3pm Tuesdays to Fridays
Location: Trumpington Street, Cambridge (corner Little Saint Mary's Lane) - Opposite Pembroke College
Snacks: served all day
Lunches: hot and cold, 12:00 to 2pm
CLOSING: The Fare Shares Café will be CLOSED from 3pm on Friday 16th-December until 10:30am on Wednesday 4th-January-2012, and usually closes for most public holidays, and closes for 3 weeks over Christmas/New Year.
